Section 4(b) (x)

Monthly Remuneration Received By Officers And Staff Including The System Of Compensation

Introduction

All officers and staff of DGAQA are Central Govt employees who are entitled to monthly pay and allowances as per their designation and grade structure. Officers and Staff are also entitled for various allowances which are applicable for Central Govt employees as per Pay Regulations.

Pay scales as per rank/grade structure existing in DGAQA are as per Government scales.

Besides the pay, various allowances and compensations are also applicable to the officers and staff as per existing Central Govt rules. Certain such allowances and compensation are enumerated below: -

Dearness Pay, Dearness Allowance, Transport Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, HRA and Special Increment (Small Family Norms), etc. are applicable to all officers & staff as per their basic pay and place of posting and are governed by Central Govt orders passed from time to time.
Kit Maintenance Allowance, Allowance for Gallantry Award/Decorations, Technical Pay/Qualification pay etc. are also entitled to service officers as per Govt policy & rules on the subject.
